• Professional Affiliations: Dr. Perry is on staff in the Ophthalmology Department at St. Joseph's Hospital and Scottsdale Healthcare/Shea Hospital Campus, as well as the Maricopa County Medical Center and Arizona Heart Hospital.
• Professional Associations: He is a diplomat of the Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association. He is on the board of directors of the Wellcare Foundation in Phoenix.
• Academic Education & Training: Dr. Perry did his undergraduate work in Biology at the University of Richmond (Va.), where he received numerous academic scholarships and honors. He attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, again winning honors for his medical skills, receiving his medical degree in 1996. His Ophthalmology training was at the St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in New York City, where he completed his training as the Chief Ophthalmology Resident. After working as a surgeon and clinician for two surgical facilities in the Valley, he established The Grayhawk Eye Center to provide state of the art eye care and surgery.
• Advanced Training in LASIK Surgery: Dr. Perry has received extensive specialized training in the latest LASIK surgery techniques and equipment. He is certified on the LADARVision 4000(including wavefront), Visx and Nidek Excimer Laser systems.

Hello, when you come in, I'll do your initial eye exam before you see Dr. Perry. I'm an eye care professional, licensed as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO). I have worked in this capacity for over 15 years and I am experienced in using the highly advanced and clinical ophthalmological equipment we use at Grayhawk Eye Center. Hi, I was born in cold, snowy Minnesota. I moved to Arizona four years ago with my husband of 14 years and our nine year old son. I've been in the medical field for eight years doing many jobs, including clinical assistant, financing, insurance billing and scheduling appointments. I've worked at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and the one in Scottsdale. I've also worked at John C. Lincoln hospital, and in an eye clinic in Phoenix. You'll probably talk to me when you call, and see me at the front desk when you come in. I love being part of Dr. Perry's team, and meeting new patients. You'll like the way you are treated here.
