Served as medical director of Outpatient surgical care for over 10 years and has had staff appointments in the Ophthalmology Department at Scottsdale Healthcare both Shea and Thompson Peak Hospital Campuses. He has also served on staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Arizona Heart Hospital and the Maricopa County Medical Center where he taught ophthalmology residents from both Mayo and Wills Hospital residency programs.
He is a diplomat of the Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (where he served on the board of trustees). He is also a provider and former medical director of the Wellcare Foundation in Phoenix.
Dr. Perry did his undergraduate work in Biology at the University of Richmond (Va.), where he received numerous academic scholarships and honors. He attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, again winning honors for his medical skills, receiving his medical degree in 1996. His Ophthalmology training was at the St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City(New York Medical College), where he completed his training in 2000 as the Chief Ophthalmology Resident. After working as a surgeon and clinician for two surgical facilities in the Valley, he decided to start his own practice and established Grayhawk Eye Center in 2002 to provide state of the art eye care and surgery.
Dr. Perry performs topical anesthesia, no stitch cataract surgery in a state of the art surgical facility with a staff specifically trained in eye care. He treats cataract surgery as a form of refractive surgery with a goal of spectacle independence and was one of the first surgeons in Arizona to start implanting specialized multifocal/premium IOL’s in 2005. He is currently using multiple Premium iOL options to help patients receive spectacle independence including:
Panoptix (Alcon), vivity(Alcon), odyssey (J&J), Envy(B&L) as well as RX sight light adjustable lenses.
Clear lens exchange with the above technology has become an integral part of a patients surgical options.
Dr. Perry is certified and has received specialized training in the newest form of refractive surgery, implantable contact lenses. Dr. Miller earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry at University of Mary located in Bismarck, North Dakota and is a graduate of Southern California College of Optometry, Fullerton, VCA. After completing her Doctorate of Optometry, Dr. Miller continued her education to receive a Masters degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Health Care from the University of Mary in 2011. She has been practicing in the Phoenix valley for over 15 years and specializes in refractive and medical conditions as well as comprehensive vision exams for patients of all ages. She has extensive training in treating eye diseases, prescribing eyewear, fitting contact lenses, and co-managing surgeries, including cataract surgery and LASIK. She has experience treating a broad range of vision disorders and conditions, including glaucoma.
Dr. Miller conducted her clinical training at Tucson’s Northwestern Veterans Affair Clinic treating and managing eye diseases with our veterans, working in Las Vegas at Wellish Vision Institute which specializes in refractive surgeries and glaucoma care, and Fort Yates Indian Health Services Clinic in North Dakota. She enjoys pursuing continuing education in her areas of specialty and is a continuing member of the American
Optometric Association, American Optometric Society, and Arizona Optometric Association. A native North Dakotan, Dr. Miller grew up in the rural Midwestern farming and ranching community of Crosby, ND. She takes pride in providing a high quality exam in a personal and friendly manner, allowing an overall positiveexperience for her patients. In her free time she enjoys walking her dog, aptly named Crosby, hiking the nearby desert mountains, spending time with her two young children Lennan and Ellion, and playing Texas Hold ‘Em Poker.
Originally from Colorado, Matt moved to Arizona in 1985 after graduating Fort Collins, High School. Matt attended Arizona State University for two years prior to beginning a dynamic career in Ophthalmology.
Matt is well versed across a broad spectrum of eyecare. He assists Dr. Perry and Dr. Miller at both Grayhawk Eye Center and Lasik Plus.

Riannah is the Front Office Manager at Grayhawk Eye Center with 21 years of experience as a healthcare professional in medical office administration with an extensive background in different surgical specialties. Skilled in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Her drive and commitment is to improve patient satisfaction and streamlining administrative processes. Riannah is an Arizona native and when not at Grayhawk she is an avid gym goer, bookworm, shopaholic, and loves spending time with her 3 children and family.
